Privacy Policy
Effective July 14, 2026
Yummr is operated by DECK SEVEN ENTERPRISES, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company. This Policy explains what we collect when you use Yummr, why, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
1a. Information you give us
- Account information, your email, password (stored hashed), display name, and account type (patron, restaurant owner, or admin).
- Restaurant information (for owners), business name, address, cuisine, price range, contact phone, and evidence you provide to claim a listing.
- Content you submit, specials you report, ratings, comments, feedback, support/reset requests, and photos you upload (such as specials boards, flyers, or menus).
- Rewards activity, the points you earn and the rewards you redeem.
1b. Information we collect automatically
- Usage data, pages you view, features you use (such as the picker), and actions like reporting a deal or redeeming a reward.
- Device and log data, IP address, browser type, and similar technical information.
- Cookies / local storage, a session cookie keeps you logged in and local storage runs the app. We do not use advertising cookies (see Section 6).
1c. Location information
If you enable location, Yummr uses your approximate location to show nearby specials and power the picker. You can turn it off in your browser or device settings, and Yummr still works.
1d. Photos and AI processing
When you use the scan-a-photo feature, the image you submit, and the text read from it, is processed by an automated (AI) system to extract deal details and pre-fill a form for your review. This may involve a third-party AI provider acting on our behalf, and is used only to extract the deal, not to identify you.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- create and operate your account and the Service;
- display specials, listings, photos, and the picker;
- run the points-and-rewards program and process redemptions;
- read specials photos to pre-fill deal details;
- review restaurant claims and moderate content for accuracy and abuse;
- respond to support and password-reset requests;
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
- understand usage so we can improve and maintain Yummr.
3. How we share information
We are a small operation and we do not sell your personal information. We share only as follows:
- Publicly, by design, content you submit to be shown in the app (reported specials, ratings, photos, and your display name attached to contributions) is visible to other users.
- Service providers, companies that help us run Yummr, such as our hosting provider (currently Railway) and the AI provider that processes specials photos. They may only use the information to provide services to us.
- Restaurant owners, activity related to their restaurant (for example, that a special was reported or redeemed).
- Legal and safety, when required by law or necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Yummr, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers, if Yummr or DECK SEVEN ENTERPRISES, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Cookies and local storage
Yummr uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and browser local storage to make the app function. These are necessary for the Service. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing cookies/storage will sign you out.
